Dark-linux-0.7 by metak Dark-linux-0.7 by metak
This theme is a resoult of my attempt to create a proffesional looking gnome desktop... (let me know if I've made it :))

This is basicly improved theme from my earlier no-name-jet version theme...

For best look set panel size to 24x.

-- WALLPAPER CAN BE FOUND HERE:

Hi,
I've just installed Lucid Lynx and wondered whether your new theme's version was already available. And here it is and also installed in my machines. It's better and better.
Go ahead.

Hi,

Thanks a lot. All the steps you mentioned worked fine. I left some of the areas unchanged as they look well in bold. The one which was "disgusting" me is now settled.
I repeat that this is the best dark theme ever since I use Ubuntu (from 7.04). It's installed in my 2 desktops and laptop since version 0.4. Please keep your good work improving where possible your (our) nice theme.
This is part of the Ubuntu beauty!!

I use dark themes in all my three Ubuntu machines. Dark-linux is far the best one I found along the three years working exclusevely with Ubuntu.
I find v.0.5 more balanced and I like it much. Anyway only one thing doesn't fit my taste: it is the bold fonts in the Introduction boxes in Nautilus windows. Will you tell me where or what shall I modify in order to bring these fonts to a regular type?
I'd be very grateful for that. Keep your good work.

hello
glad you like it...
to disable any font from beeing bold just uncomment lines (gtkrc file) that you don't want:
- line 362 for bold fonts on buttons
- line 1389 for bold fonts in progressbar
- line 1692 for bold fonts in menu-item
- ? don't know if this one works... line 1747 where I tried to set bold fonts for tabs...

Also there are bold fonts for panel (panel.rc line 38) and menubar (menubar.rc line 15).

Hope that was helpful.. :)

Not a big fan of the hover/highlight color you used but everything else is fantastic. Bravo!
